I find the headline of this post too pleonastic, as “illitterate” surely must be a redundant term for describing Eminem fans. Just making the headline “Eminem fans” would be enough to get the meaning through.

It`s a North Germanic one. While West Germanic languages like English spell literature and the words derived from it with a single t, North Germanic and a few Romance languages spell it with a double t like I did. In the original Latin literatura/litteratura, both ways are OK.
