We already came up with all of the good polish inventions. Screen doors for submarines, books on how to read, solar powered flashlight, pedal wheelchair, helicopter ejection seat, sliding glass door peepholes, motorcycle a/c, glass hammer, touch screen ATMs with braille keypads, and the anti-papal butt plug. You can actually buy solar powered torches. They're great you leave them outside during the day while on a camping trip; then the internal batteries are fully charged and ready for use during the night for the trip to the loo. France (Monday, 7 Jun 2010)

The "Let's Roll" t-shirt came from the phrase used by the first of the passengers on the airliner that was aimed at the Pentagon on 9/11 to rally his fellow passengers to resist the terrorists. He wasn't a redneck, nor were his, or their efforts ever considered pathetic. Thanks for playing.. schmuck. WTF (Saturday, 22 May 2010)

@USA. I do agree that some of the brightest minds are from the USA. But that is expected considering that the USA is the wealthiest nation in the world and can afford to give a good education to everybody. The sad thing is that they do not. There are poorer countries with much better public school systems. Loufuturistic (Friday, 16 Apr 2010) Reply

Yes - I get that this kid's project looks like a penis and it doesn't look like the most polished project. I'd be curious to see if he has a lab report or followed any experimental procedures. I can't believe how cruel some people are about his appearance or intelligence. It's especially odd that so many people make fun of his spelling - yet make their own spelling or grammatical errors in their criticism. He looks like he's 13. Give him a mother f***ing break. Do you remember how hard it is to be a 13 year old? Hey Schrodinger's Cat - You say there are poorer countries with much better public school systems. I've seen TIMSS score comparisons and other data that would support this assertion. I teach science at a public school in the US - mostly to English Language Learners. Many kids did not get to attend school in their home country until they were in the US. Where else in the world do so many kids get a free and compulsory education? I think most countries can improve their school system - to make it more rigorous, relevant, inclusive, applicable, etc. Tommy (Thursday, 20 May 2010) Reply
