senseless_guy (Sunday, 5 Jul 2009) Yeah, it's something like "We don't need to be sober and work, kids in India will work for us." But they still fail at grammar Kahm N. Since (Thursday, 9 Jul 2009) It has nothing to do with work, people. This is a take on the tired refrain mothers used to say: "Finish your dinner! There are starving children in Ethiopia!" hpnotikal (Thursday, 23 Jul 2009) are you and idiot? it derives from "finish your meal. there's starving kids in india" Kahm N. Since (Saturday, 25 Jul 2009) "are you and idiot?" How appropriate. whut (Monday, 6 Jul 2009) where is the bad grammar? Need (Monday, 20 Jul 2009) Just like whut said, there are no grammatical errors. There is a serious error in the build up of the sentence, though. But it's useless to pick on it if you refer to using similar idiotic ways to mock with something. dude (Sunday, 5 Jul 2009) Reply guys, it's not like there's kids in india to work for us, it's like when your mum used to say when you were little: "finish your meal, there are starving kids in india", it's sort of a parody. a random reason to drink. Hugh Jardon (Sunday, 5 Jul 2009) Thank you, dude. jokez (Sunday, 5 Jul 2009) dude; winner of this year's Nobel prize for obviousness. Conflictiva (Tuesday, 7 Jul 2009) My mom used to say the starving kids were from Africa, but I guess that could be considered as politically incorrect? Mr_Gonne (Sunday, 5 Jul 2009) Reply Thank heaven for the Dude. I would never have cracked this without his guidance. Fanboy (Monday, 6 Jul 2009) So basically it's like a battle between Cpt. Obvious and Obliviousman? LOL (Friday, 17 Jul 2009) LOL yeah give "dude" a break, he was just stepping in due to the inane stupidity of senseless_guy. wft (Monday, 6 Jul 2009) Reply after reading many of the comments on other pics. looks like many of you need DUDE to explain it. dude (Wednesday, 8 Jul 2009) as long as there are ppl who need the obvious pointed out, there will be ppl like me who will perform the unthankful task of actually doing it. only our sacrifice of putting our ass on the line to be bashed by stupid wisecrackers will slowly cure the world of its huge oblivious masses. that or concentration-camps bahhhh (Tuesday, 14 Jul 2009) Duuuuude... we are nothing but ungrateful sheep in your unruly flock. Please do not deliver us unto your camps of concentration where we who cannot think for ourselves will surely perish. Only you can show us the way out of our oblivion. Let us feel the pain of your sacrifice and deliver us from our stupid wisecracking ways. Amen grammarChill (Wednesday, 8 Jul 2009) Reply I think people are complaining about "There's" meaning "There is" when the proper thing to say would be "There are", but it's actually fairly common for "There's" to be used for "There are" SO STFU NAZIS |
