Wehrmacht! The joke works with "Ich war mit der Wehrmacht dort" not the SS. Same category as the following joke: "My grandpa died in the KZ Dachau." "Oh my god, that's horrible!" "Yes, we were all very sad when he fell drunk of the watchtower" But not even in Germany these jokes are funny.

Anita: I laughted my ass off, but what really cathes my eye is you saying "not even in germany". Well, afaik germans are super-tense about this whole hitler-situation, to the point where they will arrest you if you do the salute, so .. i guess nic cage's hair looks like a bird, your argument is invalid.
