yes, your totally correct, there is no proof of islam being violent, apart from all the video taped hostage beheadings in iraq and chechnya, how about the way you treat your woman, how about the way punishment is served in the form of stoning to death and hangings, or how about thinking its ok to carry out "honour killings" on your own family just because they have done something you dont agree with, theres some proof right there, and why? just because you believe that you have a better imaginary friend than other religions. you sir, are an idiot. Muslims themselves are quite capable of wrecking islam's image. What about you, who are clearly exhibiting signs of paranoia? Maybe if you stopped running your mouths off blaming everything on Jews, the CIA, the crusades and the media you could get around to reforming your clearly backward religion? I have news for you - you're nothing special. Europe had its fair share of religious lunatics too. The difference is Europe took the time to learn from their mistakes and reform christianity so it fell in line with humane norms. Oh and btw, I'm a former muslim. Seriously? Who can't tell that this is photoshopped.The sign is "Behead those who insult islam" which includes the letters S and A but not Y, which is why the Y in "say" is so clearly drawn on a computer. Also, the "islam" in the middle is moved up from the bottom and you can clearly see that the top of the word is trimmed off. The original message also includes the letters I, O, L, E, N, and T, but not V, now guess which letter appears doctored? That's right, it's the V (and the L, but I'm guessing the other L didn't fit". Islam is 700 years younger than Christianity. Think back to the 1300s in Europe...Crusades, witch burning et all. It wasn't called the "dark age" for the lack of electricity. From all the opinions, I agree most with dark ages'. I believe inherently, just like Christianity, Islam is peacful and, just like Christianity, will have a more turbulent and violent earlier stage. The problem is that now the means to wreck havoc are much greater and accessible and that to Westerners, Islamic nations like Iran, Lybia and Saudi Arabia are unwilling to reform. Countries like Turkey are much more shining example of how a Muslim country can act normal. And, no, I am not a Turk, I am Bulgarian and have plenty of reasons to hate Turks but I DO respect them for what they have done to incorporate Islam and civilized life. Of course it's shopped, the S's in say and Islam are 100% identical. Still true though, print or say anything they don't like and that's all the reason they need to kill you. Just imagine a "Piss Mohamed" art exhibit... All this silliness about the violence of Christianity hundreds of years ago - oh please! How many Christians have flown airplanes into buildings? How many could talk into killing themselves in order to also kill dozens of men, women and children just because some of them didn't believe in *exactly* the same thing? Were Christians sometimes violent in times when violence, even slavery were the *worldwide* norm? Hell yes. Are there a few deranged whack-jobs at the fringes of every religion and ideology? Ditto. What does that have to do with the evils routinely perpetrated by modern Islamic Terrorists? Of all the world's religions, only Islam can be - and is - used to justify mass murder on an almost daily basis. Wake up! |
