The part with carbon dioxide back to pre-industrial levels it's utter bullshit. The CO2 in atmosphere varies in base of a cyclic natural process, and the human race is responsabile for a very small part of that CO2. The majority of CO2 comes from vulcanoes, geological activity and forest fires. Actually, at a geological scale (milions of years), the average level of CO2 in atmosphere it's much higher than now, thus raising the temperature, of which average is also higher. Anyway, for more information, google it, stop believing this crap about global warming being our fault. We are responsable for many things, polution of water, air and soil with heavy metals and toxic chemicals, exctinction of species, but not for the global warming. Amit (Wednesday, 14 Oct 2009)

If you view the Earth as an organism and The complexities of the systems involved, one comes to the conclusion that we are the highest form of that expression. The human race is the best thing to happen to earth, because the human race mastered it. What other species forsakes equilibrium for Knowledge and Power over its surroundings? To my knowledge, none. Mankind has become the rightful rulers of Earth through our minds and our will to control all. While it may take no time at all for the universe to forget us once we are gone, that doesn't matter because humanity will never let itself die off. The person who made this isn't completely correct. Methane will NOT completely disappear. The #1 source of methane today is the abundance of BOVINE (cows).
