Photoshop wasn't invented, it was found in ancient Mayan ruins. Get your facts straight!

It's true. I've even got an authentic, unedited picture of Columbus discovering photoshop.
Engineer (1 May, 2013)
It wasn't invented. We don't invent things. We just improve things iteratively and incrementally. Every new design is a small improvement on existing ones. Sorry to ruin your dream world where one "inventor" makes "revolutionary" stuff, but the real world is more about lots of engineers improving slightly on each other's designs.

@Engineer ...and legal costs with new intellectual property rights legislation slowing the process down.
Bcre8ve (2 May, 2013)
@ShortDump...and what does the "and" statement refer to?
We just improve things incrementally "and" legal costs with new intellectual property rights legislation slowing the process down?

Why is it that some people are in such a rush to blame the govt. for everything, they don't even bother to try to have it make sense to the rest of us. Besides - if you want to b*tch about "legal costs with new intellectual property rights <strike>legislation</strike> lawsuits slowing the process down, you'll have to look at multinational corporations for that. They are suing each other on a daily basis for billions of dollars in an attempt to profit unfairly off of the accomplishments of those who "improve things iteratively and incrementally".
It is time to stop the blame game and to find ways to work towards goals that all of us should want to achieve together - peace, prosperity, a clean environment, and healthy, happy society.
ShortDump (3 May, 2013)
@Bcre8ve ...nice comment. I agree with you on everything except the environmental BS. The problem is that socialist legislation props up these multinational corporate monopolies. Well said!

True Story (1 May, 2013) Reply
The difference between scientists and Biblical scholars is that scientists try to prove themselves wrong while Biblical scholars try to prove themselves right.
The Man (1 May, 2013)
A scientist does not "prove" anything. The job of a scientist is to make a hypothesis and then perform experiments to test this hypothesis. The results either support or refute the scientist's hypothesis. As for this graph, the line should not quite reach zero, as true miracles are very rare (if they weren't rare they wouldn't be miracles), yet they do occur.

At what point in this timeline did Jesus live?
@ The Man (2 May, 2013)
You are wrong about scientists. While it is true that a scientist can never prove himself right, he can most definitely prove himself wrong. Many of the best experimenters did just that (Michaelson / Morley experiment comes to mind).

Above: the stunned crowd at Fatima on Oct. 13, 1917 witnessing the predicted miracle by Our Lady of Fatima
Picture was taken by government run newspaper (at the time) who did everything they could to discredit religion, even to the extent of arresting people.
